hArt has two regular 'open group' sessions for adults. Our Lymington one runs weekly at the Cricket Club, just off Southampton Road from 10.30 – 12.30 on a Wednesday.
A fortnightly group runs at the Avonway Community Centre in Fordingbridge, also on Wednesdays, from 11.00 – 13.00.
Both the sessions above were set up as drop-in groups. The need for art therapy in both communities has been so strong that the groups are now full.
However, we have set up a waiting list and are planning new delivery later this year. To register your interest, click here.
We also have a number of projects and programmes which are time-limited for specific groups of people. If you wish to sign up for our newsletters, please do so on the contact page, and you will also receive information about projects and community events.
We are always pleased to meet new people who are interested in volunteering with us. We have specific roles to fill, and offer training and support. Please get in touch with our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Sara Surey: email@example.com if you would like to hear more.
"A wonderful charity making a real difference to many people, young and not so young, through the use of art therapy and creative activities in our local community." - Anne Moxom, hArt Volunteer
Volunteering with Silverlinks
Silverlinks needs volunteers able to undertake specific training to ensure they are confidently able to visit people in their own homes to assist with a range of issues. If you feel you could commit to a regular weekly volunteer role working with older people, please contact volunteer coordinator Sara Surey on firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, you can call Silverlinks manager Celia Burgess on 07825 168634, or email@example.com.
